Making Potholders

I bet you use to do this as a kid. I know I did!

Big Brother has been enjoying making potholders on this loom. I got it on clearance at Michaels for less than $5. It's a great fine motor workout. He tires of it quickly, so we just do a few rows a day.   We'll eventually start using the weaving hook that goes with it. For now, the fingers get the job done just fine.

I hope the grandparents have new potholders on their Christmas list!

  3. Thanks Grace! I should have mentioned that the set I got at Michaels came with the loom, the hook, and a whole bag of the bands. You never know what you're going to find on clearance there!

    Hi Aunt! :)

Can't wait for my Christmas potholders. I made these when I was a girl. Had quite a business selling them to relatives for 25 cents.
